Making big decisions is never easy.
This one can feel especially heavy—something you can’t just set aside and hope it sorts itself out. It’s okay to feel unsure, overwhelmed, or even scared. That’s why we’re here. You don’t have to face this alone. If adoption feels like the right path for you, we’ll walk beside you every step of the way. We’ll help you understand your options, answer your questions, and make sure you feel supported, informed, and cared for. You deserve peace of mind, and we’ll do everything we can to help you find it.
Plan the experience you want and deserve.
You’ve made it through the hardest part—taking that first step. Now it’s time to create a plan that feels right for you. This is where you get to shape what your birth and delivery experience looks like, down to the small details that matter most.Think about who you want in the room, what helps you feel calm, and how you want those first moments to go. Some prefer quiet and privacy; others want loved ones close by. There’s no “right way” to do this—only your way. We’ll walk through every option together and help you create a plan that brings you peace, comfort, and confidence. You deserve to feel supported, in control, and surrounded by care when that big day arrives.
Find the family that feels right. Your choice should feel good not rushed.
You’re not placing your baby with just anyone, and you shouldn’t have to. The family you choose should feel like the right fit for your heart and your hopes. Not every family will match your vibe—and that’s perfectly okay. Think of us as your personal matchmakers. We’ll get to know what matters most to you and help you find families whose values and energy align with yours. You can review profiles, ask questions, and take your time. Behind the scenes, we handle all the complicated parts so you can focus on what feels right. When you find that perfect match, it just clicks—and we’ll be right there celebrating with you.
You’ve chosen your family—now it’s time to make it official.
Once you’ve made your choice, our team reaches out to the adoptive family to share the news and discuss what comes next. This is their chance to confirm that they’re ready to fully accept and commit to this match—and trust us, this is usually the moment everyone’s hearts burst with excitement. Once they officially say “yes,” we start planning what comes next—introductions, communication, and getting everyone comfortable with the plan ahead. You’ve done your part. Now, we’ll take care of the details while you focus on what matters most: feeling supported and at peace with your choice.
You get to decide what feels right—open, closed, or somewhere in between.
Now it’s time to think about what kind of adoption feels right for you. Ask yourself: Do I want pictures and updates as my baby grows? Would I love to stay in touch and celebrate birthdays together? If that sounds like you, an open adoption might be the perfect fit. It allows ongoing contact and connection—on your terms. Or maybe privacy feels more comfortable. If you’d rather keep things private and move forward without ongoing contact, a closed adoption could be the best path. In this type of adoption, identifying details aren’t shared, and there’s no direct communication between you and the adoptive family. There’s no wrong choice—just the one that fits your heart and comfort level.
The final signature that starts your next chapter.
This is the moment where everything becomes official—time to put pen to paper. Depending on your state, you’ll be able to sign the adoption paperwork after delivery or several days after. Once those papers are signed, your parental rights are legally relinquished. It’s a big step, and we know it carries a lot of emotion. We’ll be right there with you—making sure you understand every part of the process and feel supported as you begin your path toward healing and peace.
This is where healing begins.
When your baby goes home with their adoptive family, it’s natural to feel a mix of emotions—love, loss, pride, peace, even uncertainty. Every feeling has a place, and every one of them is okay. You’ve done something incredibly brave and loving. Now, it’s time to focus on you. We’ll be here to walk beside you as you heal—offering emotional support, counseling, and continued guidance whenever you need it. Recovery isn’t just about getting through the hard days; it’s about rediscovering your strength and finding peace in your decision. One day at a time, you’ll begin to feel lighter, stronger, and more certain of the amazing woman you are.
